Welcome!

Hi and welcome to Riverton Baptist Community Church!

Our vision is to be a biblical, Spirit-led, evangelistic, caring community of all ages and many cultures.

We are glad that you have visited here and we hope that you will find all the information you need. If not, please call our office and we will gladly assist you.

We wish to extend a warm welcome to come and join us at one of our three Sunday services.

Sunday Services:

8:50am | 10:30am | 6:00pm (Young Adults)

What to expect:

Our 8.50am and 10.30am morning services are larger gatherings with a contemporary style of worship. We sing one hymn each week, and around 3-4 other contemporary Christian worship songs. You will also hear a message based upon the Bible, and prayers and announcements will be given from the stage. In the morning services, we have kids programs available where kids and teens will be able to connect with a message from the Bible at an age appropriate level in a fun environment. (Please note the teenage program only runs in the 10.30am service.)

Our 6PM session is run by young adults. All ages are welcome to attend, but please be advised that some gatherings are quite casual and others more formal. There will always be a message given, but worship takes the form of alternating between prayer and musical worship on a fortnightly basis on Sunday nights. You can expect to see people of all ages attending as all are invited to come along.

When you visit…

When you visit us on a Sunday, there is plenty of parking available on site.  Once you have arrived, head across the foyer to the auditorium to find your seat. If you have children who would like to attend one of the programs we have available, head to the Check In Area about 10 minutes before the service begins to allow enough time to check in.

Kids and teens will sit with their families for the first 10-15 minutes of the service and participate in some of the musical worship, and then they will be invited to head out to their programs. If you’re not sure where the kids rooms are, ask a friendly volunteer at the check in station which way to go and they will kindly show you the way!

Before you leave, please stop in at the ‘Connect’ area near the front entrance, and fill in a contact details form so that we can get in touch with you. If there is any way we can help support you or connect you in to our community, this is a great way to let us know.

Why not join in?

One great way to get to know people and become a part of the Rivo community is to come along to some events and join in on some activities. We host a range of activities and programs that aim to help you grow closer to God and closer to His family of believers throughout the course of the year. A great way to be connected with whats going on is to receive our weekly newsletter as well as following us on social media.

If you would like to receive our email newsletter, simply contact us and we will add you to our mailing list.
