CHILDREN'S MINISTRY (Part Time)


We are seeking an exceptional individual to pioneer, lead, and grow the Children’s Ministry at our new High Wycombe Campus.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone to help us get children’s ministry up and running at our new High Wycombe campus. This is a part-time (0.2 FTE) role working closely with the Campus Pastor and wider team to build a welcoming, Christ-centered ministry for children and their families.


The role involves:

  • Helping start and grow outreach and ministry to children and families.
  • Encouraging and equipping a team of volunteers.
  • Creating a fun and safe space where kids can learn about Jesus and grow in faith.


Selection Criteria:

We're looking for someone who ...

  • Has an evident personal love for Jesus Christ and his mission in the world.
  • Has experience leading a ministry team.
  • Communicates well with kids, parents, and leaders.
  • Can work well with others, be organised, and take initiative.
  • Has (or is willing to get) a Working With Children Card, a National Police Clearance, and a First Aid certification.
  • Has the right to work in Australia.
  • Is registered with the Baptist Churches of Western Australia (We can assist you with this).


Qualifications in children’s work, education, ministry, theology, or a related field are preferred, or currently working toward completion.

ADMINISTRATOR (Part Time)

 

We are seeking a gifted and experienced leader to join our ministry team as Administrator.


About the Role
The Administrator will
lead, develop, and equip a team of paid staff and volunteers who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the church. The scope of responsibility includes finance, HR, property, IT, communications, venue bookings, and compliance. This pivotal role supports our Lead Pastor and Board by ensuring that church operations run smoothly and effectively, freeing our leaders to focus on vision, mission, and ministry.

  • Loves Jesus and is committed to his mission in the world.
  • Has proven experience leading and developing teams.
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Is reliable, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
  • Skilled in — or ready to quickly master — our church management system (PCO), accounting software, and cloud-based productivity tools.
  • Has the skills to manage church administration, compliance, and systems with excellence.
  • Can work collaboratively with a diverse church community and staff team.
  • Has (or is willing to get) a Working With Children Card, a National Police Clearance, and a First Aid certification.
  • Has the right to work in Australia.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related role.
  • Relevant qualification (e.g. business, management, ministry, or equivalent).
  • High-level computer literacy and business acumen.
